If you’re like me, then your brain is already cluttered with countdowns to graduation, or finals or days to that summer internship that you’re excited for, but are dreading at the same time. Though the last few weeks of spring semester are sure to be hectic as usual, this handful of hilarious comedies will help you laugh your way to summer and leave your troubles behind for good. Or at least until the movie’s over.
1. 21 Jump Street
In theaters now, 21 Jump Street stars Jonah Hill (who plays Schmidt) and Channing Tatum (who plays Jenko) as two former acquaintances that renew their friendship after bonding over their serious lack of skill in police academy. Before they even learn what a Miranda right is, both are sent on an undercover mission as high school students to find and take down a secret drug ring.

2. American Reunion
The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here: Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan and the rest of our beloved cast from American Pie is back! In a highly anticipated return to East Great Falls to reunite with our closest 90’s pals, American Reunion hits theaters today. Now that they’re all grown up, we finally see what has happened to the crew and how they’re living their post-party life. Luckily for us fans, it’s quickly revealed that the parties aren’t exactly over yet.

3. One for the Money
Released in January, One For The Money stars Katherine Heigl as Stephanie Plum in a fun flick that will have viewers wanting to leave their “rolly-chairs” and cubicles behind and aspire for a much more dangerous—but fun!—job. Based on a novel by Janet Evanovich, the film follows Stephanie as she, after being “let go” from her department store job, finds herself doing an unexpected job: tracking down criminals who have skipped out on their bail-bonds. In this girl-power comedy, Stephanie proves that you don’t need any prior experience to do a job well. You just need to have attitude and know how to kick ass.

4. The Dictator
From the creators of Borat comes an unsurprisingly, hysterially offensive movie that pokes fun at religious dictatorship overseas. Sacha Baron Cohen likely won’t disappoint, but make sure to come with your sense of humor fully intact for this one!

5. The 5-Year Engagement
This lighthearted rom-com stars The Devil Wears Prada’s Emily Blunt and funny man Jason Segel as a young couple struggling to maintain their relationship while life gets in the way. When Violet (Blunt) gets accepted to work at the University of Michigan for two years and is forced to postpone their engagement, Tom (Segel) understands. But after Violet is promoted, things get tricky and their impending marriage is put on hold once more. A bit of a chick flick, this comedy will be perfect for a spring girl’s night out.
