Top dog, head honcho, the big cheese, senior. All of these guys and girls know exactly what they’re talking about after three years of experience. Don’t know what the most important thing to do before graduation is? They’re here to help!
J.P. ‘The Rocket Scientist’ Muncks, aerospace engineering, University of Virginia: “The specifics are different for every school,” says Muncks, “but make sure you do something that's considered to be a school tradition. For example, at my school…one of the most important traditions is to streak the Lawn, a large quad on our campus. If you go to Penn State, visit the Creamery. Make sure you do that fantastic college tradition one last time before you graduate.”
Laura ‘The World-Changer’ Levitt, broadcast journalism, Elon University: Levitt says, “develop strong relationships and keep them. There are people I met in college who I know I will stay in touch with for years. They're the people who helped me get through the last four years and my college experiences would have been very different without some of those people.”
Sheila ‘The Future Doctor’ Razdan, public health studies, Johns Hopkins University: “Go to your senior week events! Being able to hang out with your entire class right before you graduate is amazing and an opportunity that you shouldn't miss,” says Razdan.
Laura ‘The Ivy-Leaguer’ Morrison, human biology, health and society, Cornell University: “I think you should do as many diverse things as possible—this is the time when everything is open to you, so why not try new things. For example, I had never been to Holi and experienced that for the first time. There are so many activities going on on a college campus that there is always something to do, which is why this is the best time of our lives,” says Morrison.
Kristi ‘The Singer’ Ferguson, biology, Virginia Tech: “Make a bucket list and check it off,” says Ferguson. “In order to know you have been successful during college, make a list of everything you have wanted to do! Whether it be hiking a specific place, going to a certain restaurant or just taking pictures of your favorite spot, make sure you do it!! You will never get these moments back and doing everything you can while you have the time is SO important! So start making that list, and get out there and do it!”
