Vanderbilt University: Vanderbilt recently joined a coalition of schools across the country bent on improving the college application process. The Coalition for Access, Affordability and Success created a platform of online tools to make the college application process less of a headache.
University of Colorado: University of Colorado’s school of medicine announced it planned to give back a $1,000,000 grant from Coca Cola after finding out that the money created an advocacy group that basically just spewed lies. The group was established to downplay the links between soda and obesity. Nice try.
University of Missouri: University president Tim Wolfe resigned on Monday after experiencing pressure from all across the student body—including the football team—to speak out against the systematic and blatant racism amongst students at the school.
