This song met the criteria of encompassing the excitement and freedom of road tripping and it is sure to keep you awake at the wheel.
2. Life is a Highway – Rascal Flatts
This one is chosen for an obvious reason: you will most likely end up on a highway at some point during your road trip. It was also chosen because it is a great song with lyrics that everyone in your car should know.
3. We are Young – Fun.
Spring makes you feel invincible. This song is picture-perfect for the image of college students rocking out during a road trip. Its catchy and who doesn’t love Fun.?
4. Last Friday Night – Katy Perry
Sing along to this song as you let everyone on campus know that you have no idea what you did last weekend. Chances are, they don’t know what they did either!
5. Party in the USA – Miley Cyrus
As much as people dislike Miley Cyrus, I think it is a unanimous decision that this song is catchy and so much fun to rock out to in the car.
6. Here I Go Again – Whitesnake
Everyone should know this song! It’s perfect to drown out that whiney friend next to you but you can make it into a duet if you please. It’s perfect for any car ride even if you are just heading to the store!
7. Highway to Hell – AC/DC
Just like “Life is a Highway”, this song fits perfectly for any road trip.
8. Hit the Road Jack – Ray Charles
This is one of my favorites. It’s an old song and some college students may not know all the words but it’s easy to catch on to and such a fun song to listen to. It’s on the shorter side though–can anyone say “loop?”
